SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Can Poirier ship to anywhere in the world?

We happily ship worldwide. 

What are your US shipping rates?
US orders over $100 ship for free
US orders under $100 ship for a flat fee of $6.95
US orders over $250 may require a signature

 

What are your international shipping rates?
Orders to Canada over $200 ship for free
Orders to Canada below $200 ship for a flat fee of $18
Orders to the rest of the world over $300 ship for free
Orders to the rest of the world below $300 ship for a flat fee of $28

 

How is my order shipped?
US orders are shipped USPS first class with tracking.
Orders to Canada are shipped USPS International Priority with tracking.
Orders to the rest of the world are shipped USPS International Priority with tracking.

 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders to the US will take an average of 3-8 business days to arrive.
Orders to Canada will take an average of 5-10 business days to arrive. 
Orders to the rest of the world will take an average of business 8-14 days to arrive.
Arrival time is an estimate and unfortunately, cannot be guaranteed. We do not offer shipping refunds that are late due to the carrier.

 

Do you offer expedited shipping?
We offer expedited shipping, 2-5 business days, within the US. If you wish to receive your order sooner, please select expedited shipping during checkout.

 

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been placed?
Please email us as soon as possible with your new shipping address at hello@shoppoirier.com. Unfortunately, once an order has been processed we are unable to change or modify the shipping address.

 

Will I be charged duties and taxes?
Customs authorities require that we state the full value of your order.
All applicable customs and import duties and fees, taxes and any other charges and fees are the responsibility of the customer (even if you refuse any shipments upon delivery). Poirier has no control over these charges, and we can’t tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

  

All items are priced and charged in US dollars at checkout. The exact exchange rate is determined by the bank that issued your credit card and reflects the daily exchange rate.

How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking information.

 

Can I cancel or modify my order once it’s been placed?
If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact hello@shoppoirier.com right away. Please note that if your order has been processed we are unable to cancel or modify.

 

Can promo codes be combined?
Promotions are limited to one per order and cannot be combined.

 

Do I have to open an account at shop?
You can shop at Poirier without creating an account. However, if you decide to register with us you will be able to:
-Track current orders and review past purchases
-Save your address for next time

  

What form of payment do you accept?
We accept all major Credit Cards and PayPal.

 

What does pre-order mean?
A pre-order is an order placed for an item that has yet to be released or is coming back soon. Once available this item is likely to sell out quickly. You may select to pre-order an item to guarantee you receive one. Exact release dates are not available for pre-orders, but we do our best to keep you updated on its expected arrival.
Please note not all sold out items are available for pre-order.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What is your return policy?

Poirier gladly accepts returns of merchandise within 30 days of the original purchase. Jewelry must be returned in its original condition and packaging with no signs of wear. If any of these requirements are not fulfilled, the return may not be processed.

 

Sale Items
Any item marked 'Sale' are non-returnable.

 

How can I return an item?
For US returns please contact us at hello@shoppoirier.com and we will provide you with a return label. Please make sure to include your name and order number in your email.
For US returns a $6.95 fee will be deducted from your refund.

 

How do I return an item if I am outside of the US?
At this time, we are unable to issue return labels for orders shipped outside of the US. To send your return back, contact us at hello@shoppoirier.com and we’ll email you the return instructions. Please use a carrier of your choice with a traceable tracking number to ensure delivery. If a return is unable to be tracked, Poirier will not be able to process your return. Poirier is not responsible for the cost of return shipping.

 

I returned my item, when will it be processed?
Once your order arrives back to us, it can take up to 5-10 business days for it to be processed. You will receive a confirmation email with your refund details. Original shipping charges or return shipping charges, if applicable, are non-refundable.

 

What is your exchange policy?
At this time we are unable to process exchanges. Please make a new purchase.

 

GIFTING

Can I include a gift receipt and message?
Absolutely! Simply add your request along with any special notes you’d like included in your order in the gift message field on the cart screen. We will include a gift receipt in the package.

 

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Each order is beautifully packaged so it’s ready for gifting! The name you enter in the gift note field will be added to a personalized note card that is included in the order. If no gift note is included, the name in the shipping address will be added to the note card. 
Do you offer gift cards?
At this time we do not, but check back soon!

 

MATERIALS AND CARE

Gold-Plated
Not all Gold-plating is created equal. Our Gold-plating is an ultra-thick layer of 14k gold on top of Sterling Silver. Clean your Gold-plated jewelry by buffing gently with a soft, dry 100% cotton or microfiber cloth. Never use chemicals or chemically-treated cloths. Remember to store your Gold-plated jewelry in a jewelry box, pouch, or ideally, an airtight container when not in use. Remove your jewelry before washing hands, exercising, applying perfumes, lotions, or before bathing.

 

Sterling Silver 

Our 925 Sterling Silver jewelry is plated with a thick layer of Rhodium, which gives our Sterling Silver more durability and shine. Did you know Rhodium is one of the most expensive precious metals. Clean your Rhodium-plated Sterling Silver jewelry by buffing gently with a soft, dry 100% cotton or microfiber cloth. Never use chemicals or chemically-treated cloths. Remember to store your Rhodium-plated jewelry in a jewelry box, pouch, or ideally, an airtight container when not in use. Remove your jewelry before washing hands, exercising, applying perfumes, lotions, or before bathing.

Gold Filled

Gold-Filled jewelry is composed of a very heavy layer of solid gold bonded to a base metal. Gold-Filled jewelry typically contains the highest quantity of gold besides solid gold jewelry. Gold-Filled jewelry's layer of solid gold must be 10k gold or higher. At Poirier, our pieces are handcrafted with 14k gold to give you the best quality possible.

 Clean your Gold-Plated jewelry by buffing gently with a soft, dry 100% cotton or microfiber cloth. Never use chemicals or chemically-treated cloths. You may also clean your Gold-Filled jewelry with warm water and mild soap. Pat dry completely with a soft cloth. Remember to store your Gold-Plated jewelry in a jewelry box, pouch, or ideally, an airtight container when not in use. Remove your jewelry before washing hands, exercising, applying perfumes, lotions, or before bathing or swimming.

 

RING SIZER

How can I find out my ring size?
To find your best fit follow the instructions on our sizing page, right here. 
If you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up. For example, if you are between a size 9 and a size 10, order the size 10.
